Alpha is an opportunity for you to explore the Christian faith and for some, it gives the chance to rethink the basics of the faith, and refresh their Christian walk. It is a chance to discuss and to share what you know about Christianity, and also a chance for those who feel they know very little, to challenge and ask questions. It gives the opportunity to look at the relevance of the Christian faith in the world today.

Alpha courses are run throughout the world and many have come to understand and take for themselves the importance of the Christian faith in today's world. Most people have deep and difficult questions which they look for answers to, for example; why is there so much suffering in the world, why do good people die, how do we know the Bible is true, how do we really make a difference in our community and workplace? These are some of the things that can be discussed and thought about, sometimes the answers are difficult, but together we talk, share, laugh and have a good time getting to know each other.
